Saturday’s Echelon Gran Fondo Napa drew hundreds of cycling teams raising money for their chosen causes, including the Napa Valley Vine Trail and Queen of the Valley Medical Center.

The race began in downtown Napa with teams riding 35, 65 or 100 mile courses through Napa County before returning downtown for a festival.

Race organizers capped registration at 1,000 cyclists, according to the Echelon Gran Fondo website: http://www.echelongranfondo.org/napa/napa_course.html
