The Napa County Regional Park and Open Space District threw a party at the Napa River Inn on Jan. 26 to celebrate four years of preserving and maintaining Napa's public lands, and to honor Bob and Evalyn Trinchero for their gift of 3,400 acres of open space northwest of Lake Berryessa.

District General Manager John Woodbury was there with his camera and captured many of the 100-plus Napans, from trail volunteers to county supervisors, who gathered to toast the district and the Trincheros.
