After another loss against the Oklahoma City Thunder 110-87, the Golden State Warriors' losing ways further took a toll on me. I’ve been a Warriors fan since their bright spot in 2006-2007, where they beat out the one seeded Dallas Mavericks as the number eight seed.

Then, after going 48-34 in 2007-2007 and missing the playoffs, they were back to their losing ways with the departure of Baron Davis.

Now I must say I am not the most loyal Warriors fan, dismissing them repeatedly for their repeatedly less than stellar play. But can you blame me? As a person growing up with a team his whole life and having them reach the playoffs once, can you blame me for pondering giving up my Warriors altogether?

Although I certainly do not plan on doing so, I believe I’ve finally reached rock bottom as a basketball fan.

How many of you out there have had to root for teams that are virtually incapable of even smelling a playoff berth?
